No Mercy Functional Movements Class
Fresh from my level 1 certification seminar, I’d like to share what I learned about Crossfit, the 9 functional movements that are the foundation of Crossfit and how to perform these safely and more efficiently to produce more power and get more results!
Who is this class for?
**EVERYBODY!! Whether you’ve been crossfitting for 2yrs or 2 months or if you just want to know what Crossfit is about, this class is for you! We will be breaking down functional movements you already use everyday in your life and going through proper set up and execution for being able to perform these movements with increased load and efficiency.
What are we going to do?
**Repetition, repetition, repetition! Practice, practice, practice! You are going to have the opportunity to work in an almost one on one training setting with your No Mercy trainers who will guide you through the proper setup and execution of these movements. During and after classes, trainers are pulled in many directions trying to help and cue as many athletes as possible in a short period of time. This class is designed to give you that one on one attention for an extended period of time to help you understand and improve these movements.
Will this class teach me everything I need to know about Crossfit?
**Hell NO! Crossfit is an evolving sport and one that if you ever think you know it all…you’re doing it wrong. This class WILL however help new crossfitters become more comfortable and more proficient in movements that are still unfamiliar. This class WILL help the more experience crossfitter start to perfect these movements so they can go faster with more load and be able to apply some of the concepts you will learn to more complex crossfit movements. You won’t come out of this class snatching 285, but you will come out of this class a better, more knowledgeable crossfitter.
Sign ups will be posted at the gym…class will be approximately 2 hrs. Wear workout clothes, bring food, water and whatever else you might need…there might be a short WOD at the end to see what you learned J
These classes will be offered on Dec. 15th and Dec. 29 from 11:00 to 1:00
Cost for class will be $15.00
Class is limited to the first 20 people to sign up. It is imperative that we keep these classes small so that you get a lot of one on one interaction.
If you have ever struggled with your cleans, snatches, jerks and so on this is the class for you. Don't get left out sign up quickly.- NMCF
